I first met George through our franchise group and was keen to get new ideas and help to grow my business.
Back then, I had a decent business that was making money, but was working very, very hard for it and I knew we could do much better. I just didn’t know how.
We are based in a remote mining town where it is hard to operate a business and everything is very reactive, constantly “up and down” and dependent on others. I didn’t realise it at the time, but my business was set up to be a reflection of this.
Working with George, I now have a business that is structured properly. It functions and operates effectively. I have documented systems in place that make things easier and more consistent. It is still hard to find people because of the location, but my team has grown and can do more tasks.
I have learnt a lot about myself. I am now a much better manager, have learnt a lot about leadership and am a much stronger businessman.
While I still work very long hours, financially, the rewards are significantly better.
This all occurred, despite the mining downturn and a lot of businesses in town (including many competitors) shutting down.
I put this down mostly to the work I’ve done with George over the years and can’t recommend him highly enough. It is one of the best things I have done and suggest you jump at the chance should you have it.
